For those who are unconvinced…

Over the past sixty years, we, and this is a we that includes you, have contributed to, witnessed, watched, and caused…

Our children and unborn children, some of the most vulnerable in our society, to be laden with toxic chemicals with known and unknown lethal effects…
EWG Body Burden
EWG Body Burden II

Over 2000lbs of trash per person per year in America (making us by far the world leader in garbage production) to be dumped into landfills, roadsides, lakes, streams, and oceans… of which over 80% was compostable, recyclable, or reusable, and much of which was little more than worthless trinkets and junk… the equivalent of burying the entire state of Conneticut under 4 or more feet of trash each year… and again, over 80% of the waste was recyclable or somehow reusable, and the average American produces 2-10 times the waste of most everyone else in the world…
How much garbage do we generate?

The permanent loss of tens of thousands of tons of topsoil per year, one of the most fundamental needs/prerequisites for growing food and sustaining life on the planet…

The earth's vast oceans turned into little more than gigantic garbage cans (as if we hadn't polluted our land enough already)…

Our oceans are turning into plastic, are we?

The average life of a product to be reduced from decades and multiple years to months…
but the average decomposition of products go from a few years or decades into millenniums…for little reason other than to usher in the "modern" economy and enrich large corporations and a few other "winners" at the whole planet's expense…

Rates of cancer, diabetes, and other degenerative diseases to increase astronomically…
Despite billions and perhaps trillions of dollars being dumped into medical research and the search for supposed "cures," vaccines, and other remedies…

The planet's scarce water resources to become laden with chemical, pharmaceutical, and industrial residues and byproducts which containmant almost all the people of earth's usable water.

Infertility and miscarriage rates to skyrocket over the past three generations (from the 1900's to today)…with almost 1 in 3 couples in America qualifying as infertile (unable to become pregnant in under 12 months of unassisted attempts).

The complete collapse of thousands of bee colonies, upon whom much of our food supply, even animals, completely depends and thus also our survival…

A removal of well over 60% of the planet's "lungs"… and this destruction has no slowdown or end in sight…
(Imagine what would happen to you if we removed that much of your lungs!)

And…this is just the tip of the iceberg. This doesn't even begin to capture and catalog what we have done… We have decided to engage in an experiment of massive proportions – one involving the whole human race, the whole planet and all its forms of life…

Still not convinced that we need to change? The book of Proverbs reminds us that "The wise sees danger and hide themselves, but the simple pass on and suffer." So, either you are foolish to ignore the warning signs or just too selfish and self-centered to care or change.

Either way, ignoring the evidence won't mean we and those we love won't suffer the consequences of what we are doing and have done to the planet. We encourage you not to ignore the warning signs, but to become a part of the solution. Not by forced governmental action (We think the evidence shows that the government is part of the problem, not the solution), but by personal choice… to buy local, to stop buying low quality, throw away products and stuff, especially plastic, to support local cottage industries and sustainable, grass based, local farms… to walk, bicycle, and carpool more… to make cumulative, small, daily choices that will begin to move the planet and its people away from the coming catastrophe that we may well soon find ourselves in…
